Danae Voormeij, BSc (Honours), MSc, PGeo is a Dutch born-Canadian registered professional geoscientist with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) and a Qualified Person (QP) under Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM) NI 43-101 Standards.
More than twenty-five years of international exploration experience, exploring for gold and copper in tropical laterite terrain.
Her work has taken her to many different countries — from running ground magnetic surveys in the Gobi Desert with Ivanhoe Mines at Oyu Tolgoi in 2001, to Liberia, West Africa, where she led the team to the discovery of Touzon, a grassroots discovery of 2.4 million ounces of gold.
Danae is a director with Miata Metals with large gold exploration projects in Suriname. Danae is also director and chief geologist for Sky Gold Corp, with copper-gold projects in Walker Lane, Nevada.
Ms Voormeij is a Qualified Person (QP), Competent Person, and she is qualified to assess gold projects.
