Danae Aline Voormeij B.Sc. (Honours), M.Sc., P.Geo.
Exploration geologist with 8 years international experience designing and implementing field operations in diverse environments. Training and supervision of local technicians and geologists for a variety of geophysical and geochemical programs including ground magnetic surveys, stream sediment sampling, geological mapping, channel sampling, auger drilling and trench excavation. Experienced in exploration license acquisition and maintaining licenses in good standing. Valuation of mineral exploration properties. Instruction of QA-QC sampling procedures. Setup, training and supervision of RC and diamond drilling programs. Experience in lateritic environments. Fostering interpersonal relationships with small scale miners, local geological surveys and government officials. Camp construction and management. Voormeij has a comprehensive understanding of lateritic and saprolitic regolith weathering environments.

Her software expertise lies with MapInfo and Geosoft Target, and she has exceptional report writing and communication skills. She is a competent public speaker, who is comfortable giving in-house presentations to management and potential investors using PowerPoint. In addition, Voormeij has presented on a variety of geological topics at international resource conferences and government forums. She speaks fluent Dutch, English and has an excellent working knowledge of Spanish.

Nickel sulfide and Archean gold mineralization potential, Uganda
Responsible for 32 mineral exploration properties, including gold projects in the northern extension of the Lake Victoria Greenstone Gold Belt; the West Nile district, where Kilo-Moto (DRC) style host rocks (Kibalien) are found; and Kafunjo, which is in the same geological Belt (Kibarian) and has similar geophysical signature to the Kabanga world-class nickel-sulfide deposit. Training and supervision of 4 young national geologists. Local communities engagement and government liason. Quarterly reports and work progress reports. Drawing attention from majors through meetings and presentations.

    Uganda Team

    Dabolava Gold Project, Madagascar
Gold-bearing shear-zone hosted quartz veins in Proterozoic gneisses. Permit ground in excess of 1800 km2. Supervision of detailed ground magnetic survey, auger drilling, trench excavation and mapping, large scale stream sediment sampling and regional geological mapping programs. Integration of field data for drill target definition. Training and supervision of eight local geologists for 4000m diamond drill program. Writing diamond drill program procedures, including design of core logs, safety measures and remediation of drillpads/roads. Camp setup, construction and management (up to 30 persons live-in). Hiring of field crew (up to 80 local persons). PR with small scale miners and local authorities. Monthly and year-end report writing as well as press release contributions.

Kharmagtai, Shuteen, Oyu Tolgoi and Chandman Uul camps, Mongolia
Copper-Gold porphyry/skarn deposits. Set up and program magnetometer units. Training and supervision of ground magnetic crew (up to 22 local technicians). Planning daily shifts. In total, the 3 mag units ran up to 120km of lines per day. Daily processing, plotting and presentation of data using Geosoft software. Periodic small camp supervision.

    Mongolia Team

    Mananjary Emerald Camp, Madagascar
